DESCRIPTION
Next Fest is a conceptual one day only event held in Deer Lake Park with a curated lineup of performers and artists from across different genres of music. The event also features food trucks, kiosks and art installations.
The Next Fest logo is simple and straight-forward while at the same time, friendly and modern. With the bold letters and touches of detail, it is surely a unique representation of the event’s energy and identity.
The music festival market in Vancouver is highly saturated with kitschy illustrations and “boho” themed visuals and Next Fest drifted away from that concept in order to make a big impact. The iconic illustrations, texture and bold typography make an eye-catching combination that is reminiscent of contemporary design styles with a hint of nostalgia. The pattern-like nature of the visuals are versatile and can translate over to other elements such as merchandise, print, web, etc.
