Crofton House School is a forward-thinking, independent day school for girls from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12. CHS has a history of over 120 years of excellence in girls’ education and provides a joyful and academically challenging environment where each girl is encouraged, supported and celebrated.
PROCESS
The goal of this project was to create sticker pack that included the Crofton House School logo mark, progressive pride logo and four unique designs based on their school values and school mascot, Fergie. The sticker pack is meant to be handed out to students during orientation week and other similar school events. The designs should reflect and align with the brand's guidelines and look and feel.
FIRST ITERATIONS
The initial idea was to create illustrations that represented the students and connect them with the school's values. The 3 different iterations are very quirky and friendly while still adhering to the brand's image. Although the illustrations are fun and inviting, the client and I decided to move forward with a more simple and straight-forward approach.
FINAL DIRECTION
The final pack included a sticker with all three values, two Fergie stickers and two Crofton House branded stickers. The illustrations were simple yet approachable and fun while highlighting the school's signature colours: green, white and navy blue. The pale pink colour was chosen to compliment and add contrast to the main colour palette. The typeface is clean but still has a bit of personality to it, which pairs perfectly with the overall illustration style.
